ALERT:  Public Broadcasting Fund in Jeopardy

Funding of Community Radio Under Attack in Congress

Funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) is an important part of KGNUs annual budget. Without it, KGNU would have to reduce our service to the community. Many smaller community radio stations in Colorado and across the US also depend on CPB support.

KGNU is a partner station of the 170 Million Americans campaign, which is designed to help educate members of Congress on the importance of public broadcasting. Individuals can also join the campaign. To sign up or for more information go to http://www.170MillionAmericans.org. The website also includes a quick way to link to Colorado members of Congress.

KGNU and Hmong Colorado Radio needs your help.  Please contact your congressman in your constituent and tell him/her to support CPB and continue funding for CPB.  Many thanks!
